Biography
Elizabeth is from Coral Gables, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Èë¿Ú. She graduated from Duke University in 2010, earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Environmental Science and Policy and a second in Earth and Ocean Science. After college, Elizabeth worked for a real estate development company and for a nonprofit for K-12 and college students teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). She graduated with her Juris Doctor, cum laude, and a certificate in Environmental and Land Use law from the University of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Èë¿Ú Levin College of Law in 2015.
During law school, Elizabeth was an editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, a member of the Environmental Moot Court team, and a clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of General Counsel in Washington, D.C. After law school, Elizabeth worked as a judicial law clerk for the United States District Court for the Northern District of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Èë¿Ú where she gained experience working on complex federal cases.
Elizabeth is a partner at Johnson Turner, PLLC in Lake County, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Èë¿Ú. She specializes in Education and Employment law, representing the Lake County School Board.Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in all courts ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Èë¿Ú, as well as the Middle and Northern District of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Èë¿Ú, U.S. District Courts.
